About the Synagogue

Our Temple is a communal center for growth, worship, and friendship. Our purpose at Temple Beth Shalom is to create an atmosphere of warmth, a place for study, and an environment where the best of Conservative Judaism can be practiced and experienced.

We also share, at our Temple, each other's joys and sorrows, our willingness to support one another and to enhance our spiritual and intellectual development so that when we go out into the world we take with us our heritage and live it with respect, love, and a sense of community.

Temple Beth Shalom adheres to the concepts of Conservative Judaism attached to the traditions of our fathers and mothers, but also willing to innovate and create new ways of finding community, searching for God, and establishing Jewish family life which will endure now and into the future.
