Havurah A Havurah is a small group of families, couples or individuals who share common interests and the desire to meet together on a regular basis.
New Dimensions New Dimensions is Temple Beth Shalom's chapter of HAZAK.
Social Action The goal of Temple Beth Shalom’s Social Action Committee is to involve as many Congregants as possible in our programs to give them a taste of the Mitzvah of Tzedakah.
Keruv For several decades, the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards of the Conservative Movement has been discussing intermarriage and its impact on Conservative Jewish Life. In 1995 the Leadership Council of Conservative Judaism, comprised of all of the arms of the movement produced a Statement on Intermarriage which called for Keruv.
Landscape Committee Chairman, Julian Orleans - Plant flowers and shrubs in flower beds and planters, like marigolds and chrysantamums. Weed and cultivate existing flower beds. Prune shrubs. Develop new areas for flowers and other plants.
Archives Julian Orleans, Archivist, Historian - Add to existing archives, old material of the early days of Temple Beth Shalom And add new material, photos, articles, etc. to current album, and label accordingly.
College Connection Committee The vitality of Judaism is assured by the way our college-age youth experience and practice our religion. Their commitment to continue our Jewish way of life is shaped during these important college years. The College Connection Committee is proud of its role in fostering these experiences with a unique combination of programs for your college-age son or daughter.
