For several decades, the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards of the Conservative Movement has been discussing intermarriage and its impact on Conservative Jewish Life. In 1995 the Leadership Council of Conservative Judaism, comprised of all of the arms of the movement produced a Statement on Intermarriage which called for Keruv.
