New Dimensions

New Dimensions is Temple Beth Shalom's chapter of HAZAK, the umbrella group for mature social groups in congregations affiliated with United Synagogue. It provides social, educational, and religious programming within the congregation and provides for networking with other chapters.

Our most recent example was our "A Night at the Opera," provided by Sylvia Nachtigal. Wine and cheese were served, and guests were greeted by Sylvia and by Marta and Harvey Weintraub in elegant opera attire.

Then Sylvia presented introductions and video selections from AIDA, LaBOHEME, and CARMEN. It was a most festive evening!

Membership this year is $15 for Temple members, but will be $20 starting next summer. The opera evening was free for members, as will be the Shabbat dinner on March 23. There will also be a Hunterdon Playhouse trip on April 17 with price to be announced soon. If you haven't joined yet, you still may!
