About Us
A Communal Center for Growth, Worship, Jewish Family Life and Friendship
Temple Beth Shalom (TBS) is an egalitarian Conservative congregation affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Our Temple is a communal center for growth, worship, Jewish family life, and friendship. We are committed to creating an atmosphere of warmth, a place for study, and an environment where the best of Conservative Judaism can be practiced and experienced.
Respect, Love, and Community
We also share in each other’s joys and sorrows. Our willingness to support one another and to enhance our spiritual and intellectual development enables us, as we go out into the world, to take our heritage and live it with respect, love, and a sense of community.
Temple Beth Shalom adheres to the concepts of Conservative Judaism of our fathers and mothers but is also willing to innovate and create new ways of finding community, searching for God, and establishing Jewish family life that will endure now and into the future.
Full Inclusion and Participation
TBS supports the full inclusion and participation of all people in religious and communal life. We strive to accommodate all learners and appreciate individual differences so that all members of our congregation can participate together in Torah study and prayer.
